Maristes Girona

They say time flies when you’re having fun! That’s certainly the case for our group of 14 students who are now more than halfway through their family immersion experience in the New York area. Since leaving Girona on the 29th of June, they’ve been living the American dream: along with an essential trip to Central Park, Times Square and the Statue of Liberty, they’ve been adjusting to their host family's way of life in Rochester. It’s been great for them to meet up and visit so many memorable tourist attractions like the Niagara Falls, but surely the most valuable time has been that spent integrating with their host family, including many social events and tasting the American lifestyle and culture. A big thanks to British Summer for their organisation and continued support, too!
